Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Lescale Furnishings terms and conditions. Please read through them carefully before placing your order.

By using this website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below. Please also read our privacy statement regarding personal information provided by you.

Ordering Procedure

We accept most Credit, Debit cards through Pay Pal. You may also post your cheque payment for your goods. Should you be unable to locate an item on the website please ask as often these goods could be supplied for you. All goods are inclusive of VAT.   The majority of my custom made items are handmade and while the colour reproduction is a close representation, every piece is individual and variations in actual goods may occur. We cannot accept any responsibility for these variations.

Delivery

All items are sent by either 1st class Royal Mail post or Courier for larger items. Delivery is from £3.95 and is based on weight. For a full delivery charge table please see Delivery details. All goods are subject to availability. You will be informed as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. We reserve the right to update any shipping charges, although you will be asked to confirm via email or phone if any changes occur before you are billed

Further information for overseas customers

Customers outside the United Kingdom will also welcome to shop from Lescale Furnishings. For postage details please send in an email stating the items you are interested in purchasing along with the Country Destination.

Custom Design Policy

All our furnishings ranging from duvet sets, cot bumpers, valances, bedspreads curtains and roman blinds are custom designed to order and are non - returnable, non refundable and cannot be exchanged for other products. If the item arrives damaged please contact me so that I can arrange to re-make or repair the item for you as quick as I can.

Many of my custom designed items are made by hand and as a result can vary in the finish which is absent from mass produced soft furnishings.  Please bear this in mind when ordering any custom designed items

Complaints Procedure

Please note, any damages to your order must be notified to us within 24 hours of receipt via email or writing. Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. If you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us immediately. Any seconds items, made to order items or cut lengths of fabrics are not returnable and cannot be refunded. We will replace items lost in the post, but ask that you help the Post Office to locate the lost parcel if requested. We may ask you to wait for 15 days to see if your goods appear before sending a replacement. Please note that the postage and packing charge is non-refundable and we are unable to refund the cost of returning unsuitable items or cancelled orders.

What information do we collect?

We ask for your name, telephone number, home address, email address for Delivery and newsletter mailings.

We comply with the standards, procedures and requirements laid down in the UK data protection act to ensure that the personal information you give us is kept secure and processed fairly and lawfully.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties.

Your Statutory Rights

Your statutory rights are not affected by any of the above terms and conditions.
